Vistage was founded in 1957 in Milwaukee by Robert Nourse, a Wisconsin businessman.
San Diego, April 10, 2013 – Vistage Chair Randy Fields has recently launched a new Chief Executive Group in Louisville, KY. The Vistage Group will meet monthly to discuss business issues, share expertise, and provide one another confidential help to achieve their goals. Fields joins nearly 400 Vistage Chairs who lead local area groups, which total more than 16,000 members in 15 countries.
Vistage Best Practice Chair Jean Lauterbach applauded his success: “Randy brings all his capabilities as a CEO and long-time Vistage member to being a new Vistage Chair. It’s a natural next step for him—a way to give back his knowledge (been there, done that!) and his passion for the Vistage CEO experience. His leadership persona is quickly evident—he draws new members into the circle easily and confidently with his vision of a strong peer group for CEOs who want to take their organizations to the next level. Randy will be a strong Chair, as he has been a strong member and successful CEO.”
Randy has more than 30 years of experience in the medical device industry. He founded two successful medical implant distribution companies in the late 1980s. He sold the first one in 1999 and then the second one in 2007. For the last six years he has been a consultant in the medical device industry and a CEO coach. He is a trustee and has a BA from Georgetown College. Randy is a board member at Crossing Ministries. His gifts and passion have converged in his becoming a Vistage Chair.
